I, Sue Etherton, want the UK to Remain in the EU because…..

The European Union has many faults. Trying to establish a process that encompasses and benefits multi-nations was/is never going to be easy, or without criticism and complications. The original premise was to avoid further and future wars within Europe, so far that has held. I am English but I prefer and chose to live in Final InfographicFrance. Perhaps one day I might want to move to Spain or Italy. This is a wonderful opportunity and can only help break down Nationalistic barriers which have always been one of the major problems. We are globally humans can we please all just get that!

I, Leenie Cretella, want the UK to Remain in the EU because…..

Final Infographic Being part of Europe means being in the most beautiful democratic and safe place in the world . It’s a privilege many citizens elsewhere envy . I so hope that ignorance and prejudice don’t tear this apart ,and we work together to tackle the problems we have with the EU ,not run away.

I, Oliver Rowland, want the UK to Remain in the EU because…..

I want Britain to stay to protect the rights of the 2million Brits in the other parts of the EU and the 2+million EU people in the UK. It is also the right choice to keep the UK forward-looking and positive and part of the solution and not an additional problem for the issues that are facing the world today, in resolving conflicts and crises and mFinal Infographicoving forward together to a bright, cooperative future and being part of a strong and confident group on the world stage. I want it because Europe is our culture, going right back to the Greeks and Romans, the Celts and Anglo-Saxons and the Renaissance and the Enlightenment, up to our modern world, where we share each others cultures and live in each others’ countries, enjoying the best of what we create and represent. And I want to stay in for the last 70 years of peace in western Europe, after 2000 years of war.

I, Magaly Elwell, want the UK to Remain in the EU because…..

I have both French and British nationalities and I consider myself European. My family is scaterred between France and Brittain. We worked in the UK and retired in France. We exercised our right to free movement trusting our European rights were secure. I grew up in a family that has payed a heavy tribute to two cruel wars in EuropFinal Infographice and for me the EU secured it would never happen again. The rejection of foreigners and of the European Union that has been expressed throughout this campaign has shaken my sense of security and identity. I still hope and believe that all Europeans, including the Brits share a common history and culture and that we can mend this horrible tear! I have voted Remain and I hope and pray the majority will do the same in the name of peace.

I, Phillip Plowright, want the UK to Remain in the EU because…..

We have had peace in europe for 70 years. How many brave men and women gave their lives so that we could enjoy it. Go to aFinal Infographic war grave cemetery and feel the absolute loss. We enjoy it because we live in peace together. We argue, we complain, but we have a common cause. To paraphrase Jo cox, “We are far more united and have far more in common with each other than that which divides us.” Stay together.

Don’t give up on the EU, the ghosts of Britons past will come back to haunt you

So many people say we should leave the EU and “abandon the sinking ship” or ” give up the fight to reform the EU”. These people cannot be proud Britons.

Did Henry V say in front of Harfleur: “You know what, this is too difficult, let’s go home”?

Did Sir Francis Drake say: “Those look to be a mean bunch of Don’s what say we stay put.” when he saw the Spanish Armada?

Did Wellington give Napoleon Terms on the first day of Waterloo because he was outnumbered?

Did Churchill say to Hitler: “You want Europe? You can have it!”

For the first time and perhaps at the most crucial moment in this country’s history, we have lost our grit, our courage, our perseverance, our determination and so much more.

We have been Europe’s Champion against tyranny and oppression from Boney to Hitler, but now for the first time, History has called for a Champion to lead Europe into a better future and we have not risen to the occasion, while we drink to our glories past, others will write history in our absence.

This is what will come to pass if enough of you vote leave today.

I, John D Thomson, want the UK to Remain in the EU because…..

Final Infographic

David Cameron said today – “If we want a bigger economy and more jobs, we are better if we do it together,” “If we want to fight climate change, we are better if we do it together. If we want to win against the terrorists and keep our country safe, we are better if we do it together.”

Boris Johnson and the Leave team’s persistent strap-line has been Take Control” Take Control” “Take Control”

In grown-up politics surely one listens to the advice given by Experts – Business Leaders, Economists, Leaders of the NHS, Leaders of Trade Unions, Security Experts.

If the vote is to leave I fear that waking up on Friday morning the UK will not be “in control” I fear instead that the country will be
“OUT OF CONTROL”
