I, Michael Peart, want the UK to Remain in the EU because…..

I keep asking myself why I get so worked up about the EU thing. I don’t live there, I don’t intend to go back to live there any time soon.Final Infographic I think it’s because my parents/family live there, a lot of friends live there. And I am still British. and to see the UK vote for something upon the basis of lies and hate, to see them swallowing the deceit from Johnson, Gove and Farage, to see the homophobes and racists of Britain voting alongside respectable normal people, for a decision which will severely damage the prospects of nearly everyone, especially the young. and damage what people think of us, as a country and as a people – it’s just too much.

Few if any of the most valid criticisms of the EU impact Final Infographicwould be changed by Brexit: the UK would just lose the right to change things – while facing many barriers to advantages of being part of the Community (travel, education, trade) and losing influence in joint efforts for peace building, development round the world. EU isn’t perfect but it is stronger than isolation!

I am a Brit living in Poland. Your vote to REMAIN is importaFinal Infographicnt to stop Europe crumbling. I, Chris Gwin, want the UK to Remain in the EU because…..

I want Great Britain to stay in the E.U because it will give greater freedom to our children and grand children’s generation to travel, explore and work in many Final InfographicEuropean countries. I think travelling is a very effective way to foster peace which is much better than conflict, where so many people, both military and civilians can be forced to endure large scale suffering.
By encouraging travelling and working in each other’s cultures one can make lifelong friends, which allows understanding to grow and personal and international bonds to be strengthened.
While the E.U. is, of course not perfect, it is heading in the right direction and with strong friendly membership issues can be sorted out in a fair and effective way.
Think about today and the future, and the future generations and decide wisely with both your heart and mind.

I, Traci Shipp, want the UK to Remain in the EU because…..

When I lived and worked in Italy for four years, I was not faced with reams of paperwork, interviews, language tests to apply, I just had interviews with my employers, just as I would back home. I was welcomed by the native population, I could getFinal Infographic a flat easily, I could drive on my UK licence without having to apply for a new EU one. I was able to get a ‘Carta Identica’ which acted as European passport and ID when required with no questions asked. Basically I could get on with my work and living as if I was living in the UK, contribute to the local economy and have a great experience learning about how other people live in Europe. It allowed me opportunities that the UK couldn’t give me. I learned there, what I think Jo Cox once said or is quoted as saying, ‘There is more that unites us than divides us’. Plus one of my oldest and best friends is German (since 1975 when we took part in a school exchange) and one of my best friends is German, we met in NZ, 19 years ago. The school exchange showed me what language is for – to communicate, learn and appreciate other ways of living. It gave me the confidence a shy teenager needed in the 70s and am eternally grateful for my parents and teacher who encouraged me to go. I’ve been European ever since.

I hope the vote today is to remain. I fear the economic consequFinal Infographicences of a Brexit not just for myself but my children and Grandchildren living in the UK. Brexit politicians are all in favour of charging for the NHS and have played on peoples fears of more immigration when the facts show that immigration has had positive aspects for the country now and in the past.

I spent a day in Bordeaux yesterday to visit one of the wonderful hospitals there to which, because we are in the E.U. we have access. I was treated withFinal Infographic respect and kindness as is always the way in France. The City was humming, full of Spanish and Croatian football fans and thousands of lovely young people of every race and creed, we fought our way onto trams with them and all this was with good humour and absolutely no trouble. We were given seats when possible and when we tried to thank them they said ´C’est Normale which is always the case. We came home rejoicing that we live in this tolerant, vibrant part of the E.U. We feel this is what our parents fought for and wanted for us and it is what we wish for our children and grandchildren. We are far better off in the E.U. and if only we can stay in we can all pull together to try and make it even better. It has many problems, the French people we have discuseed this with all agree, but they hope we will remain so that we can change things together. Please Vote Remain.

we are all one species we need social interaction, we need trade and freedom of movement. it is not good to be an isolated nation the rest will prospeFinal Infographicr united and safe under the flag of the union we will fade and the very things the leave party have shouted and screamed about will still be there, as it says above the europeans migrants will not just pick up their bags vacate their homes and hand over the jobs they hold , along with that UK will break up further and little old england will be all alone in a sea of sharks

Having played sport all my life I realise that playing a team is more effective than playing alone. A lot of jobs rely on trade with Europe leaving Final Infographicwill allow the other countries to cherry pick what they will buy from us and jobs are certain to be lost. Look what Europe has done for us we were the Greece of Europe when we joined now we have the second largest economy with forecasts that if we don’t throw it away by leaving the EU we will become the top. No path is ever smooth and we have had a bumpy ride along the way and there will be more to come but we need to stay strong and fight those alongside our European partners and not run away.
